Cookie Notice

Last updated June 4, 2026

This Cookie Notice explains how AdaptClose (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit https://www.adaptclose.com or use our application (collectively, the “Services”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal information more generally.

By using the Services, or by accepting cookies through our consent banner where required, you agree to our use of cookies as described in this notice. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — see “How to manage your cookies” below.

Table of Contents

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them more secure, to remember your preferences, and to provide reporting information. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, software development kits (SDKs) in our mobile application, and local storage, which function in comparable ways. In this notice, we refer to all of these collectively as “cookies.”

Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called “first-party cookies.” Cookies set by a party other than the website owner — for example, our analytics provider — are called “third-party cookies.” We work only with service providers that process this information on our behalf and under contract.

2. What types of cookies do we use?

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Strictly necessary cookies. These are required to operate and secure the Services — for example, to keep you signed in, to route requests, to remember your cookie preferences, and to protect against fraud and abuse. They cannot be switched off in our systems and do not require consent.
  • Preference cookies. These remember choices you make to give you a more personalized experience, such as saving settings between visits.
  • Analytics and performance cookies. These help us understand how the Services are used so we can fix bugs, prevent crashes, and improve the product. We use PostHog for product analytics and, in some cases, session replay (recordings of in-app interactions). In our mobile application, session replays are configured to mask text inputs and images.

3. Cookies we do not use

We do not use cookies or similar technologies for cross-context behavioral advertising, to build advertising profiles, or to sell or “share” your personal information (as “sell” and “share” are defined under applicable US state privacy laws). We do not run third-party advertising networks on the Services.

4. The cookies and technologies we use

The specific cookies set on the Services may vary over time as we improve them. The table below describes the main categories and providers.

Our analytics provider (PostHog) acts as our service provider and processes this information on our behalf under contract. We do not authorize it to use the information for its own purposes.

5. How to manage your cookies

You have several ways to control cookies:

  • Consent banner. Where required by law, we present a consent banner (managed through CookieYes) when you first visit. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies there, and reopen the preferences link to change your choice at any time.
  • Browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you remove or block cookies, some features of the Services may not function properly.
  • Mobile settings. Your device settings let you reset advertising identifiers and control app permissions. You can also opt out of analytics where we offer that control in-app.

Because there is no finalized industry standard for recognizing Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) signals, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. See the “Controls for do-not-track features” section of our Privacy Policy for more.

6. Changes to this Cookie Notice

We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time to reflect changes to the technologies we use or for legal or operational reasons. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this notice. We encourage you to review it periodically.
