Why it matters
Your best rep checks the attic, shoots the ridge line and notes the decking. Your newest rep forgets two of the three. A checklist puts your best walkthrough in every pocket, with proof attached.
Every rep and every technician runs the same list, in the same order. The steps you care about stop depending on who knocked.
Make a photo required on the items that need proof. Each photo is filed on the item it answers, so nobody scrolls a camera roll to find the flashing.
The rep captures what the crew needs to know. The technician confirms it on install day. The office sees both on the same customer.
For managers
Checklists live in your library under Game Plan. Add the questions, say which ones need a photo, and group them into sections. Every change saves as you type.
Checkbox, short text, pick one and pick many
Photos off, optional or required on each item, up to 5
Section headings to keep a long inspection in order
Mark the items that must be answered to finish
Follow-up questions
An answer can open more questions, as many levels deep as you need. A roof in good shape takes one tap. A damaged one walks the rep through what kind, and asks for the photo.
Question
Roof condition
Answer
Damaged
Opens
What kind?
Then
Photograph it
Closed branches never hold anyone up
If nobody picked “Damaged,” the questions behind it are never asked, so they never block the rep from finishing.
Complete means complete
A checklist is done once every required question that was actually asked has an answer and its required photos.
Assigning
Pin a checklist to one customer, or set defaults that attach to every visit on their own.
ONE CUSTOMER
Add a pre-install walkthrough to the Johnsons and it is waiting for whoever shows up to the Johnsons.
ONE TEAM
Give your roofing team the roof inspection and your gutter team the gutter check. Up to 10 defaults per team.
WHOLE ACCOUNT
The lists every home gets, like a safety check or a “did you cover financing” list. Up to 10 for the account.
Edit freely. Work in progress stays put. Each assignment keeps its own copy of the checklist. When you change the library version, nobody halfway through a checklist in a customer’s driveway gets different questions.
In the field
The checklist floats over the record screen and the camera, so the rep never leaves the call to check a box. A badge shows how much required work is left. Photos taken for an item land on that item.
Works in a dead zone
Answers and photos save on the phone and upload once there is signal again.
Finish it later
A rep can wrap up after the call and a technician after the job, from the customer screen.
For reps and technicians
The same checklist works on the sales visit and on the job. See the technician view →
Back at the office
Open any customer on the web or the phone and you get three tabs: Recordings, Checklists and Photos. The call, the walkthrough and the pictures sit side by side.
Put it in front of the homeowner
Add a finished checklist to a Customer Page: a shareable, print-ready page you send the homeowner. The inspection they watched becomes a report they keep.
Switching from CompanyCam
Import a CompanyCam checklist export through the AdaptClose AI integration. The questions, the follow-ups and the photo rules all come across, so your crew keeps the lists they already know.
The fine print
Common questions
Your reps on the sales visit and your technicians on the job. Managers build and assign them on the web.
Yes. Each item can have photos turned off, optional or required, with up to five photos per item. A checkbox that reads “Photograph the ridge line” with photos required cannot be finished without the picture.
Nothing changes for the rep. Answers and photos save on the phone and upload later on their own.
No. Each assignment keeps its own copy from the moment it was assigned. Your edits apply to new assignments.
Yes. A rep can complete it after the call and a technician after the job, from the customer screen on the phone.
Only if you choose to share them. Add a checklist to a Customer Page and you get a shareable, print-ready page for the homeowner.
