FAQ
Pricing, setup, scoring and recording, answered
AdaptClose is door-to-door sales software that shows where every rep knocked, who answered and what happened, door by door, on a map. Then it scores every pitch against your playbook.
Every door pinned to its address, with the time and the outcome
Doors knocked, answered and booked, per rep and per route
Every conversation scored, with no-answers logged, not penalized
Beyond the canvassing app
A canvassing app tells you who was busy: which doors got knocked and what the rep tapped in afterward. It can’t tell you why 12 conversations turned into 2 appointments, or what to change at the next door. AdaptClose tracks every door and scores every conversation, so you get both.
Where most canvassing apps stop
What AdaptClose adds
Door-to-door sales tracking
Every route gets a scoreboard and a live map, with each door pinned and colored by how it went. Tap a pin to hear that door. A territory view shows every street your team has worked.
Door-to-door sales coaching
Every door where someone answered is graded against your team’s playbook, with a summary, the outcome and one tip. Then AdaptClose coaches the whole route.
Next-route note
The route’s weakest skill, what kept going wrong and two to four things to try at the next door.
Spoken debrief
An audio recap for the drive home: what went well, what needs work and one thing for next time. Empty porches never count against the rep.
Weekly canvassing brief
Coaching for the team and each rep, kept separate from your appointment coaching.
The D2D sales app on the rep’s phone
On the Prep screen the rep switches to Door-to-door, picks a team and taps “Start the route.” One recording covers the whole route, and the rep checks every door before anything is scored.
Records only while a door is open, never the walk or the drive. Routes run up to 8 hours.
GPS fills in the address. The rep tags the door “cold knock,” “insurance visit” or your own labels.
Filed to the door they were taken at, like a flyer left where nobody answered.
Every door in knock order. Fix any address, label or photo before anything is scored.
Common questions
It depends on what you need to see. If you only need territory maps and lead lists, a basic canvassing app will cover it. If you need to know what reps actually say at the door and how to make them better, look for software that records and scores conversations. AdaptClose tracks every door (address, time, outcome, photos) and scores every conversation against your own playbook, with coaching after every route and every week.
Recording laws vary by state. Some states require consent from one person in the conversation, others from everyone in it. Your company is responsible for following the rules where your reps knock, so check with your own counsel. Our recording consent overview explains how consent works and who is responsible.
Most canvassing apps record that a door was knocked and whatever the rep typed in afterward. AdaptClose records what was actually said at the door, finds each door on its own, scores the pitch and tells the rep what to change. You get the tracking and the coaching from the same route.
Each door is cut at the rep’s Start door and End door taps. Older app builds fall back to silence gaps and GPS distance. Either way it’s fixed logic, not AI, so the same route always splits into the same doors.
No. If nobody but the rep spoke, the door is logged as “no answer” with an N/A score. It still appears on the map, so you can see the ground covered, but it doesn’t pull the rep’s average down, and the spoken debrief skips it.
No. Routes are kept apart. They never count toward appointment score averages, the team table, CRM grade pushes, coaching emails or achievements. Canvassing gets its own dashboard card, leaderboard and weekly coaching brief.
